Private Animal Encounters
Field trips and private group tours are available on days that Summerfield Zoo is not open to the public. Tours are tailored specifically to the age group and are educational fun for 2 year olds to 102 year olds!
Conveniently located in Belvidere, just next to Rockford and minutes from I-90!
The cost for a field trip is $12 per person with a minimum fee of $480. This reserves the zoo for your group for two hours and includes an educational guided tour of all of the species at the zoo. The tour lasts between 1 hour and 1.5 hours - depending upon the number of questions and attention span of the group. The remainder of the time can be used for lunch, snacks, meeting, or a lesson plan. We have a seating area for lunch/snacks.
